Instant ECG (i-ECG) provides a novel, cost-effective and convenient way of looking at the ECG signal. The system is developed for extensive use in life-saving medical care and management of cardiac emergencies. It promises to provide a significant diagnostic aid to physicians which can make preventive cardiology truly successful. Regular monitoring of physiological parameters of patients with cardiovascular disease is very crucial. However, developing countries like India are unable to tackle it effectively due to the enormity of requirement for financial resources and trained manpower as well as socioeconomic problems. |

| To overcome this, an intermediate and affordable solution to screen people to detect early symptoms is developed. Cardiologists from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and research faculty from Indian Institute of Technology - Delhi were consulted at every phase of system development in order to evaluate the performance of the system developed. |
